Our primary business is raising forage-based livestock food products and breeding bulls. Fencing, livestock handling facilities, and forages are some of our more important tools. Since we believe these products are essential for a good grazing operation, we decided to provide them along with our livestock production, consulting, and speaking efforts. For sure they all go hand in hand.
In the weeks and months ahead we'll be posting information on pastured pigs, pastured chickens, rabbits, and other farm products. We work out of the office right here on the ranch. We do not have a store in town. We are a producer just like you and we "put our money where our mouth is." Therefore, "in most cases" we know what you need.
We have many different products. We are Internet oriented and prepared to do business over the Internet as well as here on the ranch. Naturally, for our business to succeed, it has to be a benefit for both buyer and seller. So we must understand each other.
There are quality differences in all product lines. In most cases that's why prices for what seems to be "exactly the same" products are so different. There's also major differences in product knowledge and the service provided from one supplier to the next for various products. We think our prices are fair in terms of the quality of products we offer and the service we can provide. In addition, we can provide examples of our own experiences with many of the products we offer. Since our goal is to provide a quality, personalized, service-oriented business with products that work, we aren't a deep discounter who will slash prices to whatever just to undercut the competition. We want to sell products, but we don't have time to sit on the phone all day and slash prices and ship stuff just to beat out someone else who may have already provided a service for what they hoped would be a good customer.
For sure, some stores load up the producer with needless extras that cost more, don't do the best job, and wear out faster. They don't deserve your business. Here at Grazer's Edge our focus is on value. We teach economic and environmental sustainability in all aspects of livestock production. We want repeat business and referrals! Therefore we hope to earn customer loyalty for all the right reasons. So if that's what you're searching for look no more.
We believe we've all got more to learn about fencing. We are reminded of that every time folks express their surprise when they learn that permanent electric fencing is cheaper, faster and easier to build, longer lasting, and does a better job of keeping their livestock in, and the neighbor's livestock out, than any other system. But we don't focus solely on electric fencing products. We sell a broad range of fencing supplies, panels, conventional products, corral systems, etc. (catalogs are available) and we can ship your purchases right to your door via UPS. Plus, when you contact us for information, we'll tell you like it is. WE USE OUR FENCING PRODUCTS IN OUR OWN OPERATION. (Shipping costs are free on U.S.-based orders for fencing accessories in excess of $50.) Shipping costs for corral systems, squeeze chutes, fence posts, wire, and other very heavy or bulky items will vary in terms of quantities purchased. Our manufacturer can deliver most products right to your door anywhere in the continental United States.
